THE VENUE
The Windwhistle Inn is located in the beautiful South Somerset countryside. With stunning views towards Glastonbury Tor and the Bristol Channel its the perfect setting for your special day.
The original building dates from the 17th century but has been extended to include a dedicated occasions room and is set in 5 acres of beautifully maintained gardens allowing for the ideal photo backdrop of your wedding day.
We can tailor our wedding packages to create your perfect day, from more intimate weddings to larger celebrations. Our occasions room allows a seated capacity of 100 for your wedding breakfast or we can also cater for larger and smaller outdoor celebrations on our beautiful patio and lawn area. We also offer various marquee options in case the weather is a little ‘British’.
We have plenty of guest parking, are an accessible venue and have a dedicated children’s play area to cater for all your guests requirements.
THE CEREMONY
We hold a Civil Wedding Licence so you can plan your wedding ceremony or civil partnership at The Windwhistle and follow on with a reception and evening party without having to worry about transport to different locations. Our dedicated wedding planner can help you to plan every detail and will be on hand to oversee everything so that you can relax and enjoy your wedding day.
The wedding ceremony can take place either inside or outside and we’ll be happy to discuss the options with you.
EVENING DO’S
Continue the party into the evening with an evening reception for your guests. From DJ’s to live bands to entertainers, we are happy to make recommendations, and also provide a delicious celebratory buffet to keep everyone going.
